for Groups and Individuals with Special Needs

We offer drum circles for special needs groups of all ages and abilities in partnership with adaptive recreation programs, social recreation programs, community centers, non-profits, schools, parks, camps, and other groups.

We also offer two public drum circles open to all individuals with special needs: Fullerton and West Covina.

We provide instruments and lead the group through drumming, singing, and sound healing activities according to each group’s needs and abilities.  Our drum circles are positive and uplifting, promoting expression, emotional regulation, and social connection.

Therapeutic drum circles are co-led by MIke and our Board-Certified Music Therapists with compassion, sensitivity, and clinical skill. We focus on genuine connection, taking the time to understand each person’s preferences and personality, always engaging with respect, warmth, and never in a patronizing way.

Drum Circles that Inspire and Heal

•We ensure everyone has an approachable, easy-to-play instrument that suits their needs, no matter their ability. We use "not-so-loud" instruments when sound sensitivities are a concern.

•We use sound healing instruments like chimes, singing bowls, and bells to create calming and meditative sound scapes. This combination of rhythmic drumming and soothing sound baths helps individuals regulate emotions and find balance.

•The therapeutic benefits of drumming and music therapy are profound, fostering social connection, creativity, and overall well-being.
