Drum Circles for Kids

Preschools
Our preschool visits are known for big fun and surprising focus, with bongo drums provided for everyone!
Mike teams up with one of our singing guitarists to guide the kids through drumming games and rhythms. They’ll even get to drum and sing along as we play some of their favorite kids’ songs. It’s a truly hands-on musical experience.
We make music accessible by relating drumming to subjects they know about: colors, animals, shapes, foods, classic kids’ songs, and more.
We keep the kids engaged by seamlessly flowing through activities, leaving no downtime for distraction. One of the most common compliments we hear from teachers is, “I've never seen them so engaged!”
Logistics
Preschool visits run 1–3 hours, divided into 30-minute drum circles for each age group.
Groups rotate through the drum circle one at a time, and we adjust the activities for each developmental level.
Each group can include up to 35 children, and we run as many sessions as needed for everyone to get a turn.
We can accommodate preschools of any size. There’s no maximum number of students.
We are a vendor for Learning Care Group preschools, including Tutor Time, La Petite, Child Time, Everbrook Academy, and others.

Summer Camps
We host drum circles at day camps and overnight camps all over Southern California. We travel to Wrightwood, Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead, Idyllwild, Joshua Tree, Ojai, and more popular camp locations.
We can visit for an hour, a day, a weekend, a week, or more. We’ll bring the perfect instruments for your campers.
We’ll lead the group through team building activities, games, jams and sing-alongs. It’s a fun and casual drum circle that leaves space for kids to make meaningful connections.
For multi day camps, we offer drumming ensembles. Campers spend multiple days preparing a performance to share at the end of camp.
Sound Healing, Singing Circles, and Campfires
In addition to drum circles, we offer a variety of music sessions for rich multi-day summer camp visits.
Sound Healing: We use singing bowls, chimes, ocean drums, bird calls and frog sound effects to create soothing natural soundscapes. A calming and meditative way to slow things down.
Song Circle: Enjoy a social singing session with warm-ups, vocal improvisation, and even a well-known pop song with harmonized parts. Led by Meagan, our vocal facilitator.
Camp Fire Drum Circle: On the last day of camp, we love setting up around the campfire for a big drum circle with the entire camp. It’s a memorable way to bring the camp experience to a joyful crescendo.

Elementary, Middle and High Schools
We visit elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools across Southern California.
Each visit includes smaller bongo drums for grades K-2, and full-size djembes and conga drums for grades 3-12.
We lead kids through warm-ups, games, rhythms, and jams with a perfect balance of structure and freedom. We teach basic drumming techniques and rhythms, while leaving plenty of room for improvisation and creativity.
We make the drum circle appealing and fun for every age group, from Kindergarteners to High School Seniors.
Logistics
We can lead large school assemblies with up to 200 kids, or each class can rotate through for a 30-minute session.
Each class can include up to 35 students, and we run as many sessions as needed for every class to get a turn.
We can accommodate schools of any size. There’s no maximum number of students.
We are an approved vendor for LAUSD, Irvine USD, Fountain Valley SD, Huntington Beach SD, Redondo Beach SD and more.

Festival-Style Drum Circles
We offer “festival-style” circles for fairs, festivals, carnivals or any event with multiple activities. Great for all-ages family events or events with only children.
Festival-style drum circles run between 1-5 hours, and anyone from the crowd can jump in and drum for as long as they like.
We’ll provide a perfect mix of instruments for your crowd, and keep the party going as people hop in and out of the circle.
Our team helps people feel comfortable, get into the groove, and celebrate the moment.
Logistics
We can provide 25–200 instruments, depending on how many people you’d like in the circle at the same time.
Perfect for events of any size, from small community fairs to major multi-day festivals.
How many drums should we reserve?
We recommend 20-30% of your total expected attendance. For example, if you expect 100 people at your event, we recommend reserving 20-30 instruments.
This is a flexible guideline.
